Redesign of an essay from the book The Black Experience in Design. The essay I chose to redesign is Follow the Golden Ratio from Africa to the Bauhaus for a Cross Cultural Aesthetic for images, by Audrey Bennet. This text explores the concept that many mathematical, systematic systems and structures designers use, specifically the golden ratio, were preesent in Africa prior to European art movements that have been credited with these concepts.
